Either waiting out the tariffs or going to lose those sales forever.

And everyone is looking for substitutes for our exports now. Just like the soybean market in Brazil that Trump flushed down the toilet in his first go round, he’s taking care of the rest of our ag sector this time.

He is? How so? Be specific. Who is buying US corn and wheat and soy?

(the commodities markets disagree with you, by the way)

Zero Ships from China Are Bound for California

CNN: “On Friday morning, West Coast port officials told CNN about a startling sight: Not a single cargo vessel had left China with goods for the two major West Coast ports in the past 12 hours. That hasn’t happened since the pandemic.”

And our shelves will be empty in about 6 weeks. Then what?

You are unaware of the billions the U.S. taxpayers have been handing over to soybean farmers since Trump’s first term?

As for current events:
“What began as a rapid drop in U.S. imports as shippers cut orders from manufacturing partners around the world has now extended into a nationwide export slump, with the U.S. agricultural sector and top farm products including soybeans, corn and beef taking the hardest hit.”
https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2025/05/06/trump-tariffs-hit-us-exports-import-covid-level-event.html

And even MAGA has proclaimed Trump’s farcical “deal” with the UK as “s%#tty” and that’s a direct quote.

There are a lot of Americans....the majority, who shop for cheap items to wear because that is what they can afford.

Take a wild guess who relies on these cheap clothes. Not households like mine with an annual income of over $400,000.

China's global exports are also up 8% over last year. Just not to us.

Yeah, well, your tax cuts will let you keep buying the stuff you like.

Then Americans realize how beholden we were to China and realize we sold ourselves out as a country a generation ago courtesy of Ivy League MBA’s running corporate America who enriched themselves while sending all of our industry and manufacturing jobs overseas.

Payback time.

Because that is what the GOP designed with creating NAFTA.
