In a new low, the Trump administration deported a Cuban woman who is married to a US citizen--the woman has an infant daughter she is still breastfeeding. Cue the MAGA trolls on this forum who will no doubt say: "I voted for this!"
The woman was detained at her check-in appointment with ICE in a Tampa office. She was apparently trying to go through the required steps to adjust her legal status. A family lawyer and a US Rep. tried to intervene but were unsuccessful.

Didn’t majority of Cubans voted MAGA ? |
Cubans voted for this and she was eligible for deportation. |
Another W for Hispanics for Trump!
Why is Trump allying with Communist Cuba? |
Holy cow. "plans under discussion by administration officials and members of Congress to ban all travel to and from the island with no exceptions"
Cuba is a Russian proxy Where's the travel ban to Russia? |
it will take awhile but eventually the message will sink in. do not come to the US illegally. if you are here illegally, leave.
how hard is that? do you really believe that these folks don't know what they are doing?? |
Cubans are supremacist morons who think they are better than other Latin American ethnic groups. Seriously. |
It’s really difficult for Cubans to be here illegally. |
Points to the reporter who asks Rubio about this. |
More info on the breastfeeding mom. Surely ICE has more urgent targets for deportation than breastfeeding mothers who are wives of US citizens and who are already in the process of obtaining legal status in the US. [The I-130 is the initial step in the family-based immigration process. It proves the relationship between the U.S. citizen or permanent resident (the sponsor) and the foreign national (the beneficiary) who wants to immigrate.] 2. She was in the process of adjusting her status through the Cuban Adjustment Act. [The Cuban Adjustment Act (CAA) is a U.S. federal law that allows Cuban natives and citizens to adjust their status to lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) after being physically present in the United States for at least one year. It was enacted in 1966 to facilitate the immigration of Cubans seeking refuge from political and economic instability in their home country. The Act also provides for the adjustment of status for the spouses and children of qualifying Cuban immigrants, regardless of their own citizenship.] |
INDEED. Cubans will FIGHT COMMUNISM in America. |
She had ample time to self-deport with her baby attached to her breast. |
According to liberals, enforcing the law is cruelty. The women shouldn’t have broken the law by entering the country illegally, and she would have never put herself in that position. According to liberals, you are now entitled to break the law without consequences if they consider you a “sympathetic victim.” |
Why should she self-deport? She was in the process of becoming a US citizen. Her husband is a US citizen. |
