Looking for suggestions of summer swim teams within 15 minutes of Centreville

Anonymous
We are new to VA and looking for some summer swim teams with space. This would be for our 9 year old son. Thanks in advance for suggestions!

Here's the map of all NVSL summer pools/teams. They (Centreville) should have space available.

Centreville is pretty spread out. If you are in Little Rocky Run, join it. If you are near Clifton, there aren’t many great close-by options for NVSL. Hayden Village is a Colonial Swim League team near Centreville/Clifton. Some Clifton people go to Burke Centre pools (also CSL). Others drive to Old Keene Mill, Fairfax Station, Fairfax Club Estates, or Sideburn Run (NVSL). If you are down near Cox Farm, Sully Station, SSII, Greenbriar, or Virginia Run would be close-ish (NVSL).

Depending on where in Centreville, Brookfield or Pleasant Valley (NVSL) could work. Poplar Tree is close but I think it’s HOA only like Little Rocky Run.

Chantilly National Country Club (CSL) maybe an option.

Colonial Swim League has teams close to Centreville: https://csl.nvblu.com/teams

Most in CSL require you live within the community. And Franklin Farm who doesn't always has a long waitlist.

Pleasant Valley, Sully Station, and Chantilly National will take members from the general public. VA Run and Little Rocky Run are limited to folks within their HOA.

This is very helpful. I figured most options would have the HOA requirement as with our previous summer team. I'll start reaching out to the suggestions.

Have you selected a home/neighborhood yet? If not, I strongly recommend Little Rocky Run. Excellent community with three pools and a fun summer team (we live outside of LRR, but would have loved to know about it prior to purchasing our house).

Armfield Farm

Pleasant valley and Brookfield will take anyone, as they are open membership and do not have an HOA

Thank you, Pleasant Valley and Brookfield looked like great options as far as location but unfortunately it looks they do not have evening practice times.

You are going to be very limited if you want evening practice times. You may get a site with 1 night or 2, but look for the previous thread that fleshes out this issue. Maybe 1-2 have evening, and they are in McLean with 2+ pools available.
