Married to a US citizen and they have a special needs infant. He was detained on March 27. His attorney said his F-1 visa was active on March 28, but it was later revoked effective March 23. He had a pending green card application. Doesn't say he was enrolled, but if not he was doing what Elon was doing back when, or Melania. He's Muslim and has raised money for Gaza relief. |

OPT needs to be repealed immediately.
The Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a work authorization program that was created entirely through regulation and not through congress. Any alien grad irrespective of merit or quality of their program qualifies for the work permit. Employers are exempt from payroll taxes if they hire aliens on OPT. The OPT program is harming American STEM grads by giving companies a financial incentive to hire temporary foreign workers, even though the government is actively encouraging American students to study for STEM degrees. To make matters worse, a federal court has decided that the government does have the power to exempt OPT workers from Social Security and Medicare taxes, making it even cheaper for employers to hire them. |

Why was he vandalizing FOUR semi-trailers and an overpass? He was charged with a felony, but pled guilty to a misdemeanor, got a 90 day suspended sentence and a year probation.

I would never say jaywalking is grounds for revoking a student visa, but I would say causing over $4,000 worth of damage graffiting an overpass and four semi-trailers might be. The original charge was for a felony and he used up a lot of time of the court - he used a public defender, had to do many hours of community service, had a probation officer, had to pay court costs, etc. It is really amazing all that is available online and how quickly you can find information. I am so dismayed at the downfall of good news reporting is now. Growing up I read our local paper and two national papers. It is really a tragedy that it is so hard to find articles that investigate the facts whatever they may be. So here is the police report and you decide: On July 21, 2022 I, Officer Ryan Brunsvold, was advised by email of some vandalism on the support leg of the railroad bridge near 7'" Street in Marshall (lCR 22-10605). was informed there was video surveillance of the incident which shows the suspect riding City of Marshall Bike Share bicycle. The bike Shop logo was identified on the bike share sign connected to the bicycle. still capture of the suspect was provided. The video surveillance is time stamped on July 4, 2022. was provided four copies of identification cards which had been provided by the four individuals who had rented ride share bikes over July 4, 2022. In reviewing the identification cards, observed the still photo to very closely resemble Aditya Wahyu Harsono. While watching the video, observed Aditya ride west out of frame at 1355 hours. The wall of the bridge support is clear at this time. The video then skips to 1357 hours where Aditya is observed riding east through the frame. At 1400 hrs, Aditya is observed in the frame and an outline is observed on the wall of the bridge support. The video jumps forward to 1408 hours, where Aditya is observed riding west out of frame. large painting is observed on the wall of the bridge support. At 1413 hours, Aditya is observed in the frame with his bike parked, actively painting the wall of the bridge support. At 1415 hours he is observed applying his "signature". At 1416 hours, Aditya is observed again actively painting the wall of the bridge support. Aditya is observed placing can into his backpack and closing the backpack. At 1419 hours Aditya is observed riding east out of frame. responded to the bridge in person and took digital photographs ofthe graffiti. In reviewing the graffiti, observed it matched the graffiti which had been left on the semitrailers at the Schwan's water treatment plant located at 1608 Hahn Rd as well as the railroad overpass on Erie Rd. In comparing the digital photographs, observed the same "signature" near all the graffiti. spoke to Amanda Stattelman, City Hall Administrative assistant. Amanda informed me Aditya had signed out ride share bike shop bicycle #4. Amanda informed me Aditya had extended his rental of the bicycle until July 25, 2022. traveled to Aditya's registered address of 202 St #3046 in Marshall. observed Marshall Bike Share bicycle #4 parked outside the building. After knocking on the apartment door, male answered. asked if he was Aditya and he stated he was. informed him was there about the graffiti. showed Aditya some photographs of the graffiti. Aditya giggled and stated, "oh". asked Aditya what his graffiti "signature" meant and he stated he did not know. asked Aditya what the significance was of the subject of his graffiti. Aditya advised he did not know, stating "just art guess?" asked Aditya if there was any significance to the number of eyes on the graffiti subject and Aditya shook his head side to side, indicating no. asked Aditya if the number of eyes is just something he varies and he stated it was. again asked about his graffiti "signature", asking about it's meaning. Aditya advised it did not mean anything. asked Aditya how he had developed the signature if it doesn't have meaning. Aditya stated, "l just...| don't know". stated, "You just starting doing that?" Aditya stated, "yeah". asked Aditya if would find any additional graffiti around Marshall with the same subject matter and he stated would not. asked Aditya if the only ones he had painted were at the three locations mentioned above and he stated they were the only ones. asked Aditya if would find any other graffiti with different subject matter around town bearing the same signature and he stated would not. informed Aditya He would likely be facing charges for damage to property. Aditya stated, "0k". informed Aditya of the potential cost to fix the semitrailers, to which he responded, "damn". Aditya asked if there was method of payment he could do that did not involve money like community service. informed Aditya that would be determined by the court. Aditya advised he did not have any money to pay it. informed Aditya would keep him informed ofthe charge process. Aditya stated it will not happen again. The cost of cleanup and repair of the three locations is unknown at this time. The clean up of the Schwan's semi-trailers is estimated at approximately $5,000.00. My entire interaction with Aditya was recorded using my WatchGuard body worn digital camera. SUMMATION: This case should be forwarded to the Marshall County Attorney's Office. You are never going to be satisfied. There are many 100% innocent Venezuelans who came into the country legally and applied for asylum legally. They have no criminal record in any country, nor have they been accused of any crimes. Different posters, including this site moderator, have posted this over and over. You are going to say that they are not "sympathetic enough" because they have crown tattoos. Tattoos, which every single Venezuelan gang expert - including people who have worked closely enough that their lives have been threatened by Venezuelan gangs - has said is simply not a gang indicator among Venezuelan gangs. How are Andry or Jerce not "sympathetic"??? They were here legally. They don't even have misdemeanors! How many people in the Trump administration have tattoos? How many of them have pled guilty to misdemeanors? How many have faced serious criminal indictments and been convicted and gone on to be president. I don't understand your standards for immigrants. Jus to be clear, a valid visa is not an entitlement to enter or stay in the country. CBP has ultimate authority on if one is admitted and for how long.
It's possible to have a valid visa and overstay. It's also possible to have an expired visa and still be here legally. What matters is the date CBP gives you that you are authorized to be here until. |
