| Help, I need ideas for birthday gifts for girls turning 12 who have mostly everything. What’s popular these days that they’d want? Thanks! |
| What are some of her basic interests? How much do you want to spend? You could just do a Sephora, Amazon or Target gift card. My kid loves a gift bag with stuff like disposable facemasks, press on nails, lip gloss or balm and nail polish. Maybe put it in a small toiletries bag. |

I really don’t understand these questions. I know that tweens are hard to buy for, I have a 12yo. I also know what she likes, so if you’re buying for my kid ask me, I’ll give you ideas.
She’s not girly so wouldn’t enjoy Sephora or any girly stuff. She’s sporty, loves soccer and basketball. She loves animals especially dogs. Currently is into rubix cubes. Anything snoopy. You gotta ask OP. |

Agree. My 13 year old would be offended by a bag of face masks and nail polish. Definitely don't do that unless requested.
She would like a couple new board games or sheet music for her instrument. Potentially more universal: A journal with a lock and key. A mini locking safe that looks like a book that can go on the bookshelf. |

Cute stationery is generally a safe bet for this age. Merchy Lego sets. Jewelry making kit. Wood burning kit. Manga drawing supplies. Amusement park tickets if you check in advance with parents. Gift card to primark. Really depends on relationship and budget, tho.

| The best gift is to give them your (or a parent) undivided attention for hours. So few get that. |
| Teach her to make soup and donate it to a food bank. |
| If a friend, get a Coldstone Creamery or Starbucks gift card. |
| People who already have everything don’t need anything more. |
| Nike Hoodie |
Most 13 year olds have outgrown legos. What is a wood burning kit? Manga drawing supplies? That sounds like a niche hobby. These are terrible ideas! |
| My almost 12yo and her friends seem to want non-makeup Sephora stuff, jelly cat stuffed animals, stationery, fancy Japanese markers, bags (ranging from toiletry bags to packing cubes), big sweatshirts and comfy pajamas, gift cards. |
I know you feel so superior posting this, but it just reveals you don’t volunteer or have a clue what a food bank is, because that’s not how it works. |
| Gift card like target, so she can buy things she likes when going shopping with parents or friends. |
I mean, no one is stopping you from buying the basic 12 year-olds of your acquaintance Ulta and Starbucks gift cards. OP sounded like she wanted to branch out. |
