Recall elections?

In just 3 months, Republicans have burned all their goodwill and made America hate them.

There are dozens of swing districts that will elect a Democrat or Independent in the next election.

Can this be expedited via recall elections?

Depends on the jurisdiction. The only remedy for President and VP is impeachment.

Not for Congress or the President. Recall is unconstitutional there

There are no recall elections for federal offices (presidency/ House/ Senate)

We need a Constitutional convention with new amendments for:
1.maximum age to run for president,
2. ineligibility to run for any Federal office with a felony conviction.
3. Federal and state tax returns for prior ten years made public.
4. Results of physical examinations five years prior to running for office and ever year as president.

We need to remove much of the power from the POTUS. That should have happened during the Biden administration. The Democrats were too complacent. The writing was on the wall, but Democrats did nothing to take power from the POTUS. And here we are.

The problem is enough of America doesn't hate them. Too many people are OK with what's happening (presumably until it affects them).

This is the daily reminder that no where in the U.S. Constitution does it say a Congressperson can’t be recalled. AND there are already provisions for how Special Elections are to be held.

2. Maybe with provisions of appropriate punishment and rehabilitation.

4. This is going to need help as people don’t want all the medical history shared. The President is still a person.

This is a good start. I’d had

1. Change the reporting of the US Marshalls to end with the Supreme Court as there needs to be an enforcement body not reporting to the President.

2. Requirements for a full budget every year with CR’s only allowed in very specific situations.

3. Terms limits for Congress and requirements for them to appear in person or visually at least twice a year to constitutients.

4. Requirements in the number of actions for a Congressperson to take in a year

5. Limiting the scope of executive actions

6. Required review by states every 50 of laws still existing on the books so those no longer needed or agree upon by constituents can be removed.

Correct. One opinion from 1935 invented the "no recall" rule. With Roe v Wade gone, the penumbras and emanations that made Congress an undemocratic dictatorship for 2 years at a time should be gone too.
