It’s SCOTUS’s Fault the US is Imploding, you don’t give immunity to a senile narcissistic tyrant

It’s their fault, and the voters that voted for the dictator too that we are at this juncture. It’s ruining everyone’s lives. We’ve never been unhappier in the United Sates..Someone please fix this. Stop him. Impeach. No president should have unchecked power like this to dismantle everything and cause so much disruption and fear. And now even opinions and orders from SCOTUS are being ignored. So what now? Unless someone stands up with a backbone, the United Sates will continue its death spiral. SOS. SOS. SOS.

About all we can do is flip the House so that he does get impeached. If we're still having elections by the time 2026 rolls around.

The court doesn't exist to make people happier or to re-hinge unhinged politicians. It is there to interpret the laws as written. If there are problems with those laws, then Congress needs to address those problems. This is a problem with Congress, not a problem with the court.

When the court’s interpretation is based on shallow reasoning, lack of historical support, and distorted legal precedent, then it is a problem with the court.

Add in the scandals, financial improprieties, gifts from major donors, and conflicts of interest, and there’s an even bigger problem with this court.

The senile tyrant does not have international immunity. Lock him up.

I guess they voted for Trump to be their king! Bunch of pussy men who gave away their freedom. But, rn, American white men are weak sycophants who have daddy issues.

The courts didn't do this, the voters did.

What do you think would be different if Trump wasn't immune to criminal liability for his official acts?

States still can't go after him. Congress won't go after him. The courts will still be doing exactly what they're doing now.

It's far more useful to view Trump as a reaction to the woke left driving away moderates from the Democratic tent. We lost the working class and unions to trump. Think about that.

A little bit of self reflection is in order. And we should put the far left wing of our party back in the corner. We need to triangulate to the center like Clinton rather than respond to far right antics with far left antics.

This is exactly the story of rhetoric that got us here

More people voted for Trump than Harris. Should we just get rid of democracy and let you pick out leaders?

Citizens United is up there as one of the worst decisions in SCOTUS history. It is both legally unsound and disastrous for this country. We’re now feeling the effects of it, just 15 years later.

Yes, MAGAs talk a lot about "interpreting" the law. They are all talking about interpreting the 22nd Amendment to read as allowing a third term. Here is the language in the constitution:

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."

GOP spend a lot of time on voter suppression. In some areas, they have made it illegal to give someone a ride to vote.

Democracy would involve letting everyone vote without interference but the GOP does not allow that.
