The fire started around 2AM while the governor and his family were IN THE HOUSE. Wouldn't this be attempted murder in addition to property damage? PS. Let's not jump to conclusions about who did this, folks. |

Time will tell presumably, but Trump did appoint Shapiro to the bipartisan Council of Governors just a few weeks ago. Given that, it’s hard to imagine some RWNJ getting all worked up now and setting fire to the governor’s house while he and his family slept, on Passover no less. Folks on the left, on the other hand . . . |

No, it's not at all hard to imagine. We've seen a lot of right wing extremists commit violent attacks including arson, incendiary and explosive devices. In July 2022 a right wing extremist torched a Planned Parenthood clinic in Kalamazoo. In 2021, clinics in Knoxville and Toledo were torched. In 2020 right wing Boogaloo Bois were found to have committed arson attacks in Minneapolis, Portland and elsewhere during the Floyd protests. There are also numerous recent instances of right wing extremists committing arson attacks on synagogues and mosques and other targets in recent years. For example, ballot drop boxes and so on.. You must not have access to comprehensive news sources if you find it so "hard to imagine." |
