Ok, spring break is over and I’m up about 10lb. I overindulged on all of the things, from sugar to carbs to alcohol. I know most of the weight is bloat.
I also workout/weight lift, so I want to maintain my protein intake. My plan is to have a protein yogurt in the AM, and then just drink water or heavily diluted juice all day until I have my protein shake before the gym, and then cut my dinner in half. All of this just for this week until I have a healthy BM, drop the bloat, and get back down to baseline, as far as bloating goes. Thoughts? |
If you want to lose water weight, cut out the salt, increase potassium, and drink distilled water (no salt in distilled water) and exercise.
Easy to drop water bloat weight in a day or two. |
No, this is not a good idea. You want to drink juice all day? Sugar? No, that's not a good idea. Eat protein and leafy greens. |
I think just have a small lunch that isn't carb heavy and you'll be fine. |
eat some watermelon---it's a natural diuretic |
Yeah of surprised. So after all the information that we are blasted with 24/7 it’s clear that some of us – most of us – have absolutely no idea what to eat. Drinking heavily diluted juice all day is absolutely terrible for you. |
It's going to take a week for you to have a healthy poop? You should see a GI doctor who specializes in motility issues. And figure out ways to add fiber to your diet--ideally, from real food like kale and lentils rather than metamucil and the like. |
You won’t poop normally if you don’t eat |
How many almonds do you typically eat in one day? |
If you think 10 lbs is bloat, I have a bridge to sell you.
Eat sensibly, exercise and it will eventually fall off of you. |
The only thing crash dieting will do is make you binge, which sounds like you're prone to doing given your 10 lb weight gain from just spring break. |
Just give yourself an enema and call it a day. |
