Is DOGE making it easier for Feds to get things done?

Anonymous
I am not a fed, but seems that with all the cutting, that DOGE may be doing the dirty work that other managers did not want to deal with.

Is DOGE helping anyone?
Anonymous
Hahahahha…no.

This logic only applies if they got rid of the dead weight that they could not fire. Nice idea that they actually wanted to make Govt efficient.
Anonymous
No. Haven’t seen one good thing.

In fact, I know quite a few people who were demoted due to bad work/ not working and they’re still around! We couldn’t even get rid of them.

Yes

Not at all. Just the constant cycle of firings of necessary employees, error-ridden communications and the intent to intent to demean every civil servant.

They fired the most recent hires, young ambitious and most tech savvy in general.

They fired whole offices and divisions to avoid RIF rules.

This helps no one.

If they fired poor performers? Yes. That would be helpful “dirty work.”

Firing entire offices and divisions, regardless of capability? F-ing stupid. DOGE is an embarrassment. And they think Feds are the incompetent ones?

No. What I’ve heard is that they are firing a lot of the best people and keeping a lot of the dead wood. Deadwood has an advantage because if they never did much, there not much to retaliate against. People who actually did their job as at risk because the doge people hate government and want it to fail.

I laughed out loud at this one. Sometimes trolls can be pretty funny.

No, my office went from a good group of people who worked well together to a much smaller group who all keep our doors closed because we’re applying for outside jobs. People are openly leaking internal documents to the press and trying to sabotage projects. I have a new job planned and can’t wait to give my 1 hours notice before I walk out on Friday. - IRS manager

Nope, just data Call after data Call after data call after data call.

Then can you explain to me why we need email? Or a network. Or servers

Like dude you don’t know what this shit is, you’re the smart one.

Haven’t had them deny one spending request yet. Just all bluster.

No. We now have frequent computer system outages and abysmal morale.
