Regarding the possibility of a POTUS “third term”:

A hypothetical: Do you think that JD Vance could agree to run for President with the agreement that Trump would later ascend to office? Would this be morally different from what the Democratic Party did in 2024 when they nominated President Biden for a second term and then switched to VP Harris?

How would it be different? Or how would it be the same?

Vance would need to win to pull this off, and I don’t think that’s a given. He has about 1% of the charisma and gravitas Trump has.

Of course it's "morally" different. More importantly, it's constitutionally different.

OP, BEING president 3X is unconstitutional. It’s not just running 3X (which Trump has already done).

Although Trump, today, appears to be willing to challenge this, stating today that he thinks he is able to run again, and he is “not joking” about it.

So how would you address “the impossible” now? Remember when the leaders sat on a Supreme Court nomination as strategy?

If this strategy were to play out what would it look like? Also, if yuh think the dems did not know Biden was sick when they ran him a second time, I have a bridge to sell you. People I know KNEW he was not well during his first term. They shared this with me in very subtle ways. I am sure their choices were hard.

So What Does This Next Race look like? Obama v Trump ? Hmmm… sure it’s not horrible
