I know many of the lawyers at DOJ right now are excellent career attorneys who are hanging on by a thread. My heart truly goes out to them!
And … the arguments some making in defense of the Trump administration are frivolous at best and more likely blatantly anti-Constitutional and straight-up dangerous. Yes, I understand that someone needs to defend this administration. But it’s a question of how. At some point aren’t these insane arguments sanctionable?? Rule 11 is still a thing right? Are there other sanctions available as a deterrent to this kind of anti-Constitutional craziness?
