I need to eat more protein, and of course I know eating protein from whole sources is ideal - but not always possible. I'd like to find a good protein bar (not for every day) that taste good and isn't totally garbage with its ingredients.
Making them is not an option right now. Any suggestions? |
I really like Quest brand, especially the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor. I eat one as a literal dessert sometimes! |
I love the munsbit from ikea. Delicious!
Why not make your own and freeze them? |
Pure Protein, chocolate. 21g protein / 180 cal.
Tastes good, too. |
Sorry I see you don’t want to make them. |

Kachava used to make a peanut bar that was excellent, but for some reason they stopped making those and are focusing on their sawdust smoothie powder.
GoMacro macrobar in Heartwarming Retreat flavor is ok. I also like the meat sticks from Chomps. If you’re a coffee/tea drinker, throwing a few scoops of a flavorless collagen protein might be easiest |
Perfect Bar. Peanut butter and chocolate chip tastes like cookie dough. And has a lot of protein. |
I like gomacro, aloha, and trubar |
I like the quest s’mores bar and also all three varieties of their new overload bars. They all have 20 grams of protein for around 180-210 calories depending on flavor. Which is right where you want to be in a protein bar.
I agree that perfect bars are delicious but they do not have enough protein to justify the calories. But they are very delicious. |
barebells are also really good. |
The chocolate salt RX bar is delicious. |
+1 |
Kind protein Peanut Butter |
Nugo bars |
