Black Robe Oligarchy & Coup

Anonymous
Charlie Kirk, the university outreach arm of MAGA and the right, is calling the current spat with justice a Black Robe Coup. That an oligarchy of elite Ivy educated judges are taking away Americans rights for sovereign rule.

I listen to his podcast as opposition research for what is coming, but have to say this is shameless. Are people falling for it?? Also is there anyway to listen to them without having them get viewership bump, I’ve been using DuckViewer but is there maybe AI or something?

Omg insanity. It’s the upside down. People do believe this conspiracy theory because you read the comments here that they parrot from Kirk and Musk.

There are some conservative people in the legal world that I follow and I am surprised at how upset they are about all of the court cases and court losses. They are indignant that Trump has so many lawsuits challenging his EOs, when it is pointed out that he has many times as many EOs as any other president (and their EOs were also challenged). And his actions are found unlawful because ... they're unlawful. Any lawyer can look and see, but they don't bother. They prefer to feel persecuted rather than lawful.

It would be pathetic if they weren't doing real damage to our country. And they think they are patriotic, in the right, on the side of the angels.

By some district court judges. Many have been reversed on appeal. That's the point.

That’s the process.

“I love the uneducated”. People don’t have a clue how the government works and the MAGA social media machine and Trump know it.

In the past 6 weeks, how many have been reversed on appeal? The birthright citizenship case has gotten to the circuit court, not reversed; the USAID funding freeze has gotten to the Supreme Court, not reversed. What am I forgetting?

Screw Charlie Kirk. We don’t want migrants deported but the voters do and Trump is just…doing it, without any approval. Of course we need injunctions from judges.

One of the most dangerous things we see in human societies is when people commit atrocities or injustices in the name of righteousness. They do horrible things to other people but they think it is justified in the name of God or justice or whatever lie they have blinded themselves with. MAGA has done a great job of making their believers think that they are on the side of righteous.

How anyone can think Trump is even competent, let alone a warrior for righteousness, is beyond me. But they do.

A coup would be more like - hypothetically speaking - if an unelected South African billionaire were allowed to unilaterally destroy government programs and data funded by money allocated by Congress, which the executive branch has a legal obligation to disburse.

A coup would not be a court order halting this illegal usurping of power.

This is the same toddler logic that says “no, YOU’RE the racist!” when its racism is pointed out.

MAGA is going to learn that once a migrant makes it over the border, it’s very hard to get rid of them. It’s called checks and balances. Learn about it, racists.

For some of our citizens, unfortunately, they can't be bothered. They want cooked-up, over-juiced "reality tv" and serving that up is the one thing Trump can do. oh, also, grifting. He is good at conning people. I guess they are really the same.

Americans are getting the government they deserve. But I don’t think it’s quite the judicial dreamscape the FedSoc dweebs envisioned when they started down this horrible road.
