The US possibly losing their status as a democracy

I am a Canadian and our international eyes are watching what is happening in the US with the new administration. I know many of you on DCUM are in disagreement for how your leadership is handling domestic and international politics. I never imagined that the US would be on the list for potentially losing their democratic status. I know many of you care about this possible demotion, and maybe this will help mobilize your Democrat and Independent voters. I would love your feedback.

You do know that it was a civil lawsuit by the citizens of the City of Ottawa (not the federal government) that initiated that law suit. The truckers harassed local Ottawa citizens who live in the neighbourhood in which they occupied.

Just to note that those truckers were flying Nazi, Proud Boys, and other white supremacy flags, and were supported by right-wing supremacy groups in the US. They were even flying the Confederacy flag around. How does that flag speak to Canadian history?

20:35, We Americans saw for ourselves on live tv news what the Canadian government did to INNOCENT truckers.

We Americans supported those truckers en mass, as well as the truckers across Europe.
