Best new podcasts?

Saw reference here to two new episodes today for Your college bound kid and the Dartmouth AO one.

What else has good updated recent content on trends, process and holistic admissions?

I found the first one. Run by Tokyo Academics? Who are they? Do you like them?

While these podcasts give you some info, most of it is marketing for their services. More than that they create stress and FOMO.

Use only podcasts by current AO's, not former AO's who now do counseling. I looked into many of them, spoke with them, and found them to be less than useful, especially when considering highly competitive colleges. This is where they shine - making the process look more complex and littered with pitfalls. Only they can help you navigate this.

disagree. I really learn a lot from YCBK. but it's a lot and you have to really be interested in this crazy process to commit to that podcast

Same. I like skimming the transcripts.
I like Shift and Inside the Admissions Office.

I loved the "Getting In" podcast, but it's 10 years old and the trends are certainly dead even though I'll bet some of the advice still holds up.
