| Does anyone know when the PGCPS Charter School lottery results come out? |

| I called on Friday and was told sometime this week. I'm waiting and watching. I suspect the uncertainty around to DOE may have been disruptive to normal operations. |

| The lottery is always drawn in mid to late March. This is on schedule. Just be patient. A week will not change your childs results. |

| I just got a voicemail saying the deadline to ACCEPT was just changed from 3/21 to 3/26 but how can you accept something when you haven’t received the results??? Even going online to the application tells me nothing. They botched this. |

You must work for them. If you have been paying attention, you’d know they have changed the date multiple times over the past month. Should we guess our child’s status now that the deadline to accept is 3/26? The communication is terrible and they are unorganized. |

The deadline change is for the 8th graders' specialty program, not the charter lottery. I have an 8th grader, and they have to choose which high school specialty program they want to attend by the 26th. We are still waiting to hear from the charter lottery too, so it is all very frustrating. |

I do not work for HR but I do work for PGCPS. I am not sure what that has to do with anything. I am also a PGCPS parent. If YOU were paying attention you would know that the deadline is for the High School speciality program. It is different from the other lottery. |

For those unfamiliar, there are at least 4 specialty/charter application/registration processes going on.
1) TAG continuity from elementary to middle school 2) High School specialty programs (Sci and Tech, VPA, IB etc) 3) Specialty Program lottery (preK-8) 4) Charter Lottery They are separate and have different announcement and acceptance dates. |

Nope, and Monday is a holiday, so I guess we're looking at April for getting the results. This is getting ridiculous. |
