There's no question—UGA. UTK has had a rank perennially in the triple digits no matter the ranking service/methodology.

Are there other considerations for your DD? If so, rank may not be the priority/deciding factor. Both schools will be great experiences!

100% UGA------unless you have a really compelling reason for UTK.

I would chose UGA, but fit is important, Which campus did they like better? Do they like city or college town? Major? Etc.

I really like the vibe of UTK and I really like Knoxville.

UVA is less than half the size of UGA. Classes would be a bit smaller with more access to professors, research, etc.
