Ugh, how awful ![]() |
Many people from the US really don't realize how lucky they have it here.
Most parts of the world are very dangerous by comparison, and life is cheap. |
Every parent's nightmare with a college kid on spring break. I will say a prayer. |
Prayers to the family. What a nightmare. This popped on my FB feed, I’m surprised it’s not a bigger story. It reminds me of Natalee Holloway. I hope they get the political support they need and manpower on the ground to find this poor girl 🙏 her family must be worried sick. |
Oh no. Prayers she is found safe. She is a TJ grad and my son knows of her. |
I’ve traveled there and
1. I hope she stayed in the resorts for the most part. Especially at night 2. Also people can walk up onto resort areas from the beach. Like being struck by lighting, how rare it would be for someone to do that, and then harm someone. But it’s possible. All kids and travelers, stay with your groups. Don’t get so drunk (all of your party) out in the resort, you lose ability to watch out. Have a DD basically. |
Very sad and scary … I do hope she is found. |
People get harmed and go missing here too. The US isn’t a safe country. |
Last seen at 4:40am, ugh. Not good. Her poor family. |
Tell your kids to avoid swimming at night, especially with alcohol involved. |
I am shocked this isn’t getting more press.
Ok not really shocked because… |
Few places are safe when one chooses to walk alone in the middle of the night. |
Non white, non blonde. Not what the media cares about. Hope she is found safe soon! |
She doesn't have the right racial features to get the attention of the media. Sigh |
