What to wear to Disney?

Anonymous
When I google "What to wear to Disney Land," a lot of photos of women in casual clothes come up:

Is super-casual and athleisure the way to go? I found another thread about what to wear to Disney in the summer, and people recommended quick-dry fabrics. I will be going this spring, and assume that quick-dry won't be as much a priority, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks!

I'd go for kitten heels and sexy little outfit. You're gonna want to look good.

Dress for the weather and wear shoes you'll be okay walking in all day. Yes, it's casual.

It’s very hot in the spring in Florida. And you’re going to be outside walking around presumably chasing kids for like 10 hours a day. Wear the most comfortable shoes you have and the clothes you find most comfortable to be out walking around for a whole day here in the summer. Have fun.

Yes, dress casually - whatever that means for you - and bring a layer to put on top if you go inside someplace chilly.

People will be wearing every kind of thing there is to wear there.

Spring could be boiling hot or it could be a little cooler, so just look at the weather report as you're packing.

I'm not even sure I have shoes that I'd be comfortable in walking all day. I have Hoka-type shoes, but I think even those get uncomfortable after a few hours. I also have some Oofos recovery sandals. Maybe wearing one pair in the morning, the other in the afternoon?

Do you know what Disney involves? Miles and miles of walking. Buy some new shoes if your Hokas won’t work? Although I have no idea what you find if you think Hokas won’t work.

I wore Birkenstocks and was fine.

Hmm... this itself is a problem you need to solve. You really need a pair of shoes you can walk in all day.

I'm a former Disney park employee: dress for heat and walking above all else. Drink a lot of water, wear plenty of sunscreen (reapply it) and wear extra deodorant. Hats and sunglasses are a good idea. If you're planning to go on water rides, consider sports sandals and quick drying fabrics and bring a water proof bag for essentials.

I don't understand the absolutely stupidity of some people on this forum. I can't believe someone actually asked this question. Wow.

I’ll just say it- the quick dry fabric posts are geared toward overweight people.

That is weird. Sounds like you need a different brand for your type/size foot. I can wear my Nike metcons, adidas court shoes or Rothy sneakers all day.
