Preferably w practices Mondays and wednesdays

Not even joking, if that's all you can schedule, rec is probably the best option. Otherwise, sorry I can't be of more help. |
| There is no way to know what field availability is going to be for the Fall. Good lord. |
| Travel soccer clubs usually don't publish their practice schedules until 2 weeks before they start if you're lucky. Also, most clubs try to get 2-3 practice days per week September to Mid-November. |
| OP here, to clarify: wondering if there are any teams for 12 year old girl that she could potentially join mid-year, as in. Now for the spring. |
Clubs operate on a yearly schedule with tryouts in the spring for next fall. There are always options to join mid year, but that's for kids already in the system moving from another club. It really sounds like rec is the best option for you unless you have a friend/peer at another local club where people have left or need help. |
| Call the clubs that are close to where you live. They list the age group coordinators on their websites. |
| Check out DC soccer club, DCYFC and PPA if you live in the city. |
Yes, clubs do pro-rate. If you're really eager, then ask to come out to practices on their lower team now and join right away. It takes about 2-3 weeks to get a player card and with luck some uniforms, but with luck your kid could be playing on a team in April. Some clubs always need kids on the bottom team an will take you. If they don't its either policy or they are full already and don't want more benchwarmers. Where do you live? Folks could recommend a few clubs that are close to you. |
