I do not dispute that the federal government - like any other business - can be optimized. But it seems to be a transfer of money here rather than generating efficiency. Please correct me with some facts if I am wrong. And don't argue that the other party did it and so we are doing it too.

I am not a federal employee. Government waste and fraud, if any, needs to be addressed. But the way it has been done is essentially taking money from government for themselves. The Silicon Valley folks are all over this. Such a let down. I was such a fan!
