Do you 2026 World Cup will happen in the US?

It looks like relations with Mexico, Canada and Europe are becoming very strained. This could go south very quickly.

Trump loves FIFA. He had a copy for the World Cup trophy on his desk for a while. 100% this will occur as planned.

Doesn’t matter, when other countries are canceling the US because of T. I saw an IG post about the WC no happening due to the US not being prepared and foreigners no wanting to travel here

People don’t want to travel to the US but went to the Middle East for the last WC? Visited a country with terrible record on human rights and used slaved labor to build stadiums. 1000s of people died building the infrastructure. Yeah but people don’t want to visit the US because of trump. People are idiots. World Cup will 100% happen.

Agree with PP. Qatar has male guardianship laws over women, hates gays and used slaves to build stadiums. Apparently as many as 6500 workers died or went missing. Amazing how people pick some things to overlook even though one country and its leadership is truly evil. One country talking about tariffs and all of a sudden World Cup should be cancelled.

What Trump will have done in 4 years will far surpass anything bad that happened in Qatar.

This! I had my teenage sons study the inauguration picture because it is such a who’s who of global wealth and power.

FIFA president

Tik tok CEO,

LVMH CEO (louis Vuitton/Moët Hennessy) Bernard Arnault, whose estimated net worth is $179.6 billion, alongside his wife and two children, who together make up the wealthiest family in France

Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man with an estimated net worth of $98.1 billion, and his wife, Nita, a Reliance Industries chairperson

Casino billionaire and Dallas Mavericks owner Miriam Adelson ($31.9 billion),

former Fox News Chairman Rupert Murdoch ($22.2 billion) attended the inauguration.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg ($211 billion)

Amazon co-founder Jeff Bezos ($239.4 billion)

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman ($1.1 billion)

Apple CEO Tim Cook ($2.2 billion).

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet (parent company of YouTube and google)

So why would anyone think the World Cup wouldn’t be held in the US?
