This. The last time the US was the host back in the 1990s, it was the most profitable world cup ever. This one next year stands to break that record.

The reason is that in the US, we use football stadiums (they're empty in summer anyway) which has such a large capacity. More spectators = more revenue.

Not if you are paying tariffs on tickets or the World Cup call DEI. Trump will shut it down.
