Costco chicken thighs and other fails

Just bought the package that has 6 separate sealed bags. Disgusting. The thighs are bloody with a strange dark discolored meat. The bone was sticking out and was dripping blood. Blood spots everywhere. My husband was brave enough to grill and eat them and gagged at the texture and flavor.
I get chicken ls.in the US are messed up but my neighbor said she noticed the same a.year ago and eventually canceled her costco membership because the quality has gone down. And I agree. Chicken thighs, the rotisserie chicken is woody. The TP lints up my cracks, their organic feta spoils within a week, and their fruits and vegetables are either not ripe enough or too ripe. So disappointed as we loved costco because the brand was all about quality.

I would never get poultry from Costco so I can’t comment, but your criticism of their toilet paper is unfair.

Every time I g go to Costco I spend 500 dollars. That store needs to close.

We like their rotisserie chicken. We also like the TP and paper towels.
I rarely get produce from them.
If you u buy other stuff there OP maybe just skip the chicken and get a dufferent brand of TP.
The dog food alone I get there makes my membership worth it.

I hate most stop bought rotisserie chickens. All too salty and they sit steaming in those containers and they are dry and tasteless.

We buy the organic chicken (breast, thighs and whole) at Costco and have never had the problems you list.

Personally, I find their rotisserie chicken dry and a bit bland. My go to is a local Mexican restaurant, so that's not really a fair comparison. Costco's garlic wings are pretty good. Probably too much flavor for most on this board though.

There are a handful of items I don't buy at costco so I don't.

I'm not canceling my membership bc 3% of the items are gross or don't do it for me.

The 97% of the other stuff I buy for my 4 tweens/teens and household (and travel perks, tires, electronics, etc) is well worth the savings of the membership.

And why didn't you return tbe chicken op?
One of the perks of the membership is their return policy.

I'm not really a fan of most of their chicken but chicken everywhere seems not great.

I focus on other things which are a great deal like their chia seeds.

I recently got a rotisserie chicken at Fresh Market (first time, picked it up as an impulse buy) and couldn’t believe how wonderfully delicious it tasted. So much better than the Costco ones!!!

I only purchase their organic WHOLE chickens and those are fine. I smoke them on my WSM.

The best rotisserie chickens are the ones we purchase when we are in Germany. The local Hähnchenmann roasts them in his food truck outside of Globus or similar.

Well there are an awful lot of us who disagree given how much chicken Costco sells.
