| I am looking to buy a toaster oven that has an air fryer but don't want teflon coating. Looking for something compact and reasonably priced. Please recommend. |
| I think my oster has no lining. It has an air fryer. It didn’t smell when we initially used it either and I get baaaad migraines from chemical smells etc.. |
| We bought a commercial mini tabletop convection oven that has a stainless steel interior, not nonstick. It's a large air fryer or toaster oven and we use it all the time for everything. |
| Used breville. Love it! |
| I have a Black and Decker which is good enough for me. I don't have much basis for comparison as I have not used others. My suggestion for a toaster over is to buy one that is big enough that you can actually use it as your primary oven. |
| I found all of the ones that had an air fryer function to be huge and with clearance requirements above and around it that wouldn't really work for us unless we put it on a separate cart or on our island or something. (And we have a pretty big kitchen.) But I've heard great things about the Breville smart oven. We ended up with just the Breville toaster oven without the air fryer function. |
Used as in you used a used Breville or used as in you used a Breville new? |

I have a Breville (specifically, this one: https://www.breville.com/en-us/product/bov950?sku=BOV950BSS1BUS1), and I adore it.
It is indulgent. Probably overkill for most people. But I can cook everything my family needs in it. I rarely have to turn on the full oven, which is great in summer. My kids (teens) can use it without supervision. It has app connectivity, which is helpful to me because I'm disabled (getting up to check/adjust the oven is hard sometimes, and now I don't have to). It's undeniably a splurge, and I am SO glad I got it. Plus, Breville's CS is amazing. I had an older model that started to smell slightly plastic-like at high temps. Contacted CS and they sent a new one, which got here before I sent the old one back, no charge. It is slower than a standard toaster, but it can make 8 slices of toast at once. I have no complaints about it. 10/10 would recommend. |
| I love my Breville. But it's interior is black, I assumed teflon? |
The inside of my Breville started to peal. They told me it was getting too hot and needed more clearance from the wall. They did not offer a replacement. Just told me to peal off anything that was flaking. We replaced of course. |
| Yeah I wouldn’t get a breville because it’s not fully stainless steel but unfortunately there is no good alternative. |
| We’ve been using our Breville for nearly 10 years now. We hardly use our main oven anymore. If we ever need to replace it, we’re definitely getting another Breville. |
| All toaster ovens mostly have the same components. The box, the heating elements and so on. Therefore I am curious what makes a Breville so much better? |
| Looked for one for a year. Got a kitchen aid on sale at target for $99 |
I have a compact Breville. The heating is very even, e.g. casseroles don't have cold vs hot spots. And I don't know how it does this but leftovers heat up beautifully. Perhaps, the efficiency of the fan capabilities? |
