| Title says it all. Have a friend whose daughter is a possible, trying to understand when they might hear. |
| Kids who made the teams in the first tranche have already heard (girls at least) |
| Waiting for the 'ODP sucks' dad to weigh in |
Lol Let me fill in for him.... Yeah, ODP sucks. Kids that do ECNL don't waste their time with ODP. It's corrupt. Even if you made the ODP national team, we know who the corrupt dumb families are. |

Plenty of ECNL players in the ODP regional player pool. Likely the national team will draw heavily from ECNL.
The national team for ODP is actually a pretty impressive experience. They do a good job. Players get coached by college coaches, have good exposure to scouts and pretty decent competition. Once you get to regional and national level ODP is definitely worth it…. |
Shhhhh, I agree with you, but don't tell this to ODP hater dads! |
ECNL sucks. MLSNext or go home. |
lol. Agreed. But at the same time, ODP does suck. |
| ODP Hurt Me Dad has chimed in already so that's a win |
So say theres this girl...and my best friend really really wants to ask her out on a date. Trying to understand if he should ask her out or not. |
| They are posted on the Instagram and website. I saw zero to maybe two kids from the DMV. [Didn't go through every age group and gender] |
| Zero girls from the DMV. Looks like the new hotspot is in Georgia, lot girls from Georgia/ NC. That exposure probably is directly related to the new US Soccer Headquarters located in Atlanta, GA now. Less girls from So Cal even. |
Ecnl and GA schedules [and mlsn for boys] make odp impossible. It is a great opportunity for small club kids. That's it |
| Why? In this area ODP is a joke. I get in more rural areas it's good to highlight talent. Around here it's who's willing to pay the fees. I know families who invested money in it and they have second team players, which isn't a selling point for the value of ODP aside from parents who are desperate for their kids to be 'seen' |
