| If you’ve gotten a stellar pedicure, please drop the name of the salon below. I’m looking for something better than a run of the mill nail salon, preferably somewhere where they really spend time on removing dead skin, massage, etc. I’m in close-in MoCo but willing to drive if it’s worth it. Thanks! |
| Smear your feet with kerasal under cotton socks for three nights and then go for a regular pedicure. |
| Daniel at Eclipse in McLean. |
| Varnish Lane is pretty good. The chairs are amazing. Big leather recline chairs. |
I have been doing this more than 3x week and my feet are still incredibly dried out - I don’t think kerasal does jack. |

NIB (Nothing In Between) is pretty great. I've been to the Tysons and Falls Church locations, and I think there is another in Alexandria.
And I recommend Kay for facials at the Tysons location if you are ever looking for something in addition to a pedi. |
Literally every nail spa has chairs like this these days… |
| Just got one at Sugar House in Old Town Alexandria. Wonderful experience—lots of extra touches and pampering. |
Maybe your feet are just REALLY nasty |
| I like the Kosmo nail locations in McLean. |
That was NOT me the Kerasal poster! People should try it and not associate it with meanness, lol. Sorry it didn’t work for OP! |
Use amlactin. Smells bad but it works. |
Where the Marshalls and giant is on the pike, by the target. The salon there |
| Not in DC, but I had the best manicure at Lansdowne in Leesburg. I don’t know how, but they got all the dead skin off. My feet were so smooth. |

Posting to ask the same question for 2026. I went to a place in college park and there was zero ventilation. Then the manicurist got out a microplane grater for my feet!!! I declined. I was horrified and could not breathe. They had super massage chairs and thorough manicurists otherwise. But even with a mask and a sweater I could smell awful chemicals.
Where can I go in MD and DC? |
