Not only is she possibly the most annoying housewife of all time, but she’s also a pathological liar. Can show no remorse for the hurtful things she’s done, but always finds time to be the victim.
I really hope she’s not invited back. Erin is a close second to Brynn. |
Erin and Brynn are two totally different beasts. Erin is entitled and oblivious and thinks she is perfect. Brynn is damaged and fragile, which doesn’t excuse her behavior at all but explains it. Brynn is manipulative, compulsive liar, and fudges the truth. Her provocative statements generally are lies with a sliver of truth and she hurts people as a way of connecting with others and hurting others. She experienced significant childhood trauma and I suspect she had a personality disorder, like borderline, that stems from abandonment and self worth issues. Either way she should not be on the show. Erin is annoying but harmless and I would not be friends with her in real life as it would be exhausting. Ie her mom is going through chemo and she was annoyed at Ubah for taking about how her (Ubah) mother died and how that was triggering for her. Brynn hurts people on purpose because she is hurt and can’t control it. Hurting others gives her control. Gossip and lies are how she connects to and manipulates others. |
I was happy to see Brynn finally called out for being manipulative and always trying to stir the pot. |
Totally agree. Most unpleasant to watch and must be painful to be around her. |
Agreed with all of this analysis of Brynn's childhood trauma/emotional issues, but also can we talk about Brynn's complete hypocrisy around always hinting that rich men are paying her way and being FURIOUS that someone said on a podcast that a man was funding her lifestyle? Or being so very incensed that Ubah said she didn't know how she got on the show - well who does? It wasn't her name; she's not famous. It wasn't her job; she won't even say what it is. It had to be a hookup of some sort! She had a chance at the reunion to say what she does for a living and how she makes money and she refused, but she wants to publicly portray that 1) she came from nothing, and 2) she's super rich now . . . without ever connecting the dots. Snarky comments about Nordstrom Rack, flying private, Russian billionaires calling her all night, "know[ing] Jeff [Bezos]", but if someone wants to know where the money is from they're a monster. Mkay. |
Great analysis but honestly you’re letting Erin off too easy, she’s an absolute a**h*le |
Brynn needs to be fired. She’s dangerous. And given her little interview with RS we know that she isn’t taking responsibility for her behavior and continues to make herself the perpetual victim.
Bravo needs to condemn her behavior and she needs to never be on tv again. |
Erin is a rich lady who is self-centered and annoying in typical ways. Brynn has some serious issues. She lies and manipulates, makes fun of women who are successful because their brands are not fancy enough for her, but she doesn't even have a real job. And the "I'm so sexy and fun!" routine got very old. I |
Cannot stand Erin. |
This also gets to my larger issue - what a terrible and disappointing cast in general. I’m opulent finish the season. Even the “better” cast members don’t have got chemistry and lack interesting plot lines. |
*I didn’t finish the season. Autocorrect |
Yes, it's a very serious cast, and too calculated. These shows only work when people are their authentic, silly, messy selves. |
This cast gives off the vibe they are not friends and are coworkers there for self promotion and that legit they do not like eachother and do not see eachother ever outside of filming. It isn’t interesting. |
The reboot is a disaster. Fire them all and bring in four new girls and 2-3 OGs. |
I’m honestly surprised they did a second season of this dud cast. |
