Erin and Brynn are two totally different beasts.  Erin is entitled and oblivious and thinks she is perfect.  Brynn is damaged and fragile, which doesn’t excuse her behavior at all but explains it.  Brynn is manipulative, compulsive liar, and fudges the truth.  Her provocative statements generally are lies with a sliver of truth and she hurts people as a way of connecting with others and hurting others.  She experienced significant childhood trauma and I suspect she had a personality disorder, like borderline, that stems from abandonment and self worth issues.  Either way she should not be on the show.

Erin is annoying but harmless and I would not be friends with her in real life as it would be exhausting.  Ie her mom is going through chemo and she was annoyed at Ubah for taking about how her (Ubah) mother died and how that was triggering for her.  Brynn hurts people on purpose because she is hurt and can’t control it.  Hurting others gives her control.  Gossip and lies are how she connects to and manipulates others.  [/quote]
