Stay strong, don't let them push you out so easily

We can just do the job and fulfill agency's mission.

You will use RTO 5 days/week and relocation to push people out, we should stay strong and don't leave, at least wait for better deals (VERA, VSIP, etc).

Not sure how many percentage of workforce they want to get rid off, if only 10%, it can easily done via hiring freeze, maybe two years.

I've always believed in our mission. We have measurable deliverables, and as a team, our agency excels at them.

Now I consider part of my mission to do my job well and not leave, just to piss Musk off. It's personal.

Only someone already leaving would take the deal. It’s likely not even legal.

I will never buy any products/service associated with Musk for rest of my life, no Tesla, nothing.

PS: The Boston Tea Party was fueled by spite. It's in our blood as Americans.

I'm printing out the oath I took and keeping it at my desk. That oath was to an ideal, th Constitution, not this marble-balled monkey stain.

A. OATH OF OFFICE

I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental
reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on
which I am about to enter. So help me God.

B. AFFIDAVIT AS TO STRIKING AGAINST THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

I am not participating in any strike against the Government of the United States or any agency thereof,
and I will not so participate while an employee of the Government of the United States or any agency
thereof.

C. AFFIDAVIT AS TO THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF OFFICE

I have not, nor has anyone acting in my behalf, given, transferred, promised or paid any consideration for
or in expectation or hope of receiving assistance in securing this appointment.

I'm not striking. I'm also not leaving. I'm going to do my job as well as I have, to the best of my abilities, and will have to be dragged away from it with legal force, if he wants.

Just to piss him off, in particular. One more little thorn in his side.

f him.

I'm not taking the deal because it's not actually a deal. But I'm probationary. They could lay me off at any time, and it might not be legal, but that's not going to help me. I'm interviewing, and a potential employer is not going to let me wait and see if I get laid off. If I find something comparable to my current job and there's no more clarity on the layoffs situation, it would be unfair to my family to not take it.

If you don't need a job so urgent, you can just stay as long as you can. You can start looking for job AFTER they let you go. Who know what will happen, maybe you will be out of probationary period by then.

Corporations often offer buy outs. Take it or leave it. No need to encourage others to “stay strong”.

Sure, but they aren’t offered because one man decided he hated millions of people for no reason. Musk knows my colleagues processed the paperwork that lets him live here, right?
