I own a few sets like these from Lululemon, Athletica, Target, would I stand out like a sore thumb in London, Geneva, Zurich, and Paris?
|
| ew no leggings. put some pants on |
You won't stand out, but people will assume you are exercising or about to exercise. |
|
Only to exercise, OP. Don't walk around like that otherwise, you'll look ridiculous.
|
| Absolutely not outside of the gym. |
| np - What the heck though. i'm there to hike. What DO ppl wear? |
you're hiking in paris? |
French person here. You wear hiking clothes to hike. If you have lunch on the trail, then there will be plenty of hikers like you, wearing similar clothes. But you don't wear yoga pants to go to a museum. |
| I am in the French Riviera right now. The only women here wearing athletic attire are joggers. |
|
OP you CAN wear whatever you want. If you're most comfortable in leggings, then you are free to wear them - there's no law prohibiting it. You are going to be a tourist. You're allowed to look like a tourist.
But if you do want to try to fit in more, it sounds like it'd be best to go in another direction. It's really up to you, though! |
I am incredibly jealous. Tell me it's warm. |
The high temperature was in the 60s today. Absolutely lovely! |
| I meant to type 50s, not 60s. |
| Agree not to wear these. But what should OP wear? Links to pants? |
| No, only time I wear stuff like this in Europe is at the hotel gym or on runs in the park. Otherwise, no! |
