You want political? Generally speaking Dems condemn this kind of behavior in their ranks. GOP circle the wagons and deny and defend. The difference is not that neither party had creepy predators. It's the response.

I know this is a difficult concept to grasp in this day and age but let me try:

Just because one person is a criminal, that does not implicate other people who happen to share similar characteristics or opinions. Guilt by association is not a sound ethical principle. This concept is taught in preschool yet here are grown adults that cannot comprehend this timeless fact of life.

Many seem to just go straight to the real thing, sadly, as the repeated stories of female teacher preying on children illustrate.

I don't think the gender stereotyping is helpful.
