| I have large boobs. What styles lol flattering and professional on someone like me? I’m 5’3 140 lbs 38DD. |
| I wear a lot of v-necks (but nothing too low) so that I don’t look huge all around. |
|
They look super fly in shirts.

Over time, I’ve sort of gotten the hang of this.
The most important thing is to know your measurements. Specifically, know your upper bust and full bust measurements. Mine are four inches apart, which is a problem because most clothing brands are going to assume two inches ish. So you need to get good at reading size charts and if possible, the dimensions of the finished garment. Sometimes, there’s enough positive ease that you can just get away with having less in the bust than intended. But if there isn’t, even if the fabric will stretch across your bust, it’s going to pull the front up and you’re going to have other problems. In that case, you have to decide if you want to buy a bigger size and try to tailor down the other parts, because now the shoulder and hip areas may be too big (which may or may not be a problem). In my experience, fit is more important than a “flattering shape” and people are mostly just talking about designs that will not be wrecked by a bad fit in the bust. Vnecks are great because they are both genuinely flattering AND can often help with something being too tight in the bust by just pulling open a little more, or a little less to make up for too big shoulders. |
| Very difficult to fit |

Agree with the V-neck thing.
Be careful about shirts that don’t tuck in. Or dresses that don’t have a defined waist. The fabric just kind of jets out and then hangs down in front of me if that makes sense. And it looks very matronly. |

Lotsof v necks. I’m shorter than you so I look incredibly disproportionate. Nothing fits well and I feel like I look sloppy between my big boobs and butt.
Hate them. |
| V-necks, princess seams, belts, a-line and fit-and-flare skirts — anything that gives you some shape. As garment manufacturers have gotten progressively cheaper, it’s harder and harder to find things that aren’t the same circumference all the way down. |

It's impossible to even find vneck shirts these days. Everything is a stupid round neck and cropped short.
I want a vneck long shirt that shows my boobs and covers my hips |

Come and sit next to me, 32E here but I'm tall.
First, you need great minimizing bras, they are expensive but so important. I avoid anything super form fitting, deep V necks, turtleneck, and long elaborate necklaces that draw attention to chest. At work I wear a ton of jackets, with flowy silk tops underneath, like this one. For dresses, I buy the size to fit my chest and then tailor the rest. https://www.quince.com/women/silk/silk-tee?color=forest-green&size=m&g_network=g&g_productchannel=online&g_adid=703845811807&g_acctid=978-058-8398&g_keyword=&g_adtype=pla&g_keywordid=pla-293946777986&g_ifcreative=&g_adgroupid=169608750891&g_productid=43326833098922&g_merchantid=128669708&g_partition=293946777986&g_campaignid=21417780217&g_ifproduct=product&g_campaign=&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid_search&utm_campaign=&utm_term=43326833098922&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA1p28BhCBARIsADP9HrM3Id_yFGCgDn9Yrr8p4RS2RhY9IIMhW2xi2uLt0DtL7j2p3ylHTkcaAhqHEALw_wcB |
Yes, BUT. If you have really big boobs, you’re potentially dealing with a short distance between the bottom of your boobs and your natural waist. If you have a dress that already doesn’t have room for your boobs, the boobs will pull the waist up even further. So you can end up with just boobs and a belt underneath. Which is not a good look. For me, it’s great when a dress has a visual waist detail, like a horizontal band or colored princess seam lines or something like that. But a loose dress with a tie belt almost never works properly. I always laugh a little when someone says the clothes should “give you a shape” because like, I’m bringing enough shape! I have shape to spare! Audrey Hepburn can have a petticoat and a belt to “give her a shape” and that’s great for her. I have more of a draped in a sheet, being fed grapes kind of body. The curves are curving quite enough on their own. |
| V-necks. and dresses that dont have a tie around. I feel having a tie belt around my waist, just gives me boobs and hip. I prefer less form fitting clothes, like a tunic and jeans. Lots os patterns, polka dots, long necklaces. Jackets and summer flowy wraps are my friend. |
| I’m 5’2” and a 38G. I wear a lot of v-necks or scoop necks. StitchFix has a lot of tops that fit the boobs. |
| 34F over here but I am a few inches taller. Well-fitting, minimizing bras are worth every penny. I wear a lot of jackets and flowy tops, with wide leg pants to balance out my bottom half. |
