| Without using an app? I'm attractive, thin but haven't been active for a few months since getting hurt. I don't like the superficiality of dating apps or the needed first impression I have to make on them and then make the same first impression on the first date. Almost seems like a second job. So what is the best way to meet someone off the apps? Maybe I do need to change the way I dress because I dress for comfort and I don't really wear lash extensions or dye my hair. |
| Church. |
| Some kind of hobby or activity that you actually enjoy. Find someone with a common interest. |
| Friends. Ask friends to set you up. |
| College or grad school. |
| I’ve said this before on here and I will say this again. Go to the Whole Foods hot foods bar on a weekday evening and start chatting up the single men who just got off work or the gym - you will eventually meet someone. |
Agree with this. Tell friends you're open to being set up. |
| The issue you will be facing is lack of experience..women are simply not used to approaching women and when they do it is really awkward. And men arent better either. It's a shame! OLD remains your best bet. |
| Prison. Lots of men there. |
Which Whole Foods? The one in Vienna everyone is married |
| I agree hobbies are probably the way to go. Be social with friends in public and you may get approached if you carry yourself as being open to meeting people. Sit in a park when the weather is nice. |
| Volunteering, joining political groups, place of worship |
Single men are not at Whole Foods. Only married men whose wives sent them to pick up something are there. They are willing to cheat though.... |
|
Hobbies.
Going to be honest though most of my friends either met their spouses in school or online. |
| AA meetings! |
