Yes, at the very least the 2027-2029 players at SR are going to be sitting the bench when the 2030s get there. As noted by PP, 2030 will be the best class they have ever had.

There’s no way any class is that good. At a school and team as good as SR 4-5 making varsity as freshmen would be a lot.

I would wager somewhere between 5-10 make it on varsity as freshman. Too early to tell if it’s 10

The SR 2030 class has some good players. But they aren't better than the top players in the 2030 class. Let's hold off on crowning them the greatest class ever.

I think they were referring to best class SR has had. The best players in the country may not be at SR but it’s rare to have a class so deep with talent.

This is kind of an absurd conversation when we are talking about 12 year old girls and HS lacrosse. A lot can change in these middle school years. If all of these girls stay on a similar development track, a big if, then 5 isn’t far fetched, but 10 seems ridiculous. The PP is right that it’s a very deep and talented group but there seem to be 4-6 that stand out even at this point.

The poster that was told not a chance in hell said they'd wager that 5-10 would make it and too early to tell if it was as many as 10.

Absolutely, and “the best class SR has ever had” is pretty self-important from a group of parents of those same girls. If the coach or someone more objective person was saying this but these parents of 12/13 year old girls saying they’re going to be the best ever is premature and arrogant. When my kids were that age I was trying to teach and model humility, try it.
