I have a 2030... should her club be doing something to get her recruited right now?

Not at all. 28s should be starting general looking and maybe hitting a prospect day that is close to home just to see how it is but that is it.

Agreed. I have a 2027 and a 2030 so kinda seeing both side and in between. A 2028 should have a Sports Recruits account set up, and never hurts to have video (use for all star submissions, etc).

2030 you are not close to being recruited, if you want to do a camp for fun, go for it, but nobody looking right now.

Recruiting for a 2030 means focusing on development to make HS varsity in 2 years. That is their priority- and trying out for certain select tournament teams but not all. Getting their grades up in 9th-10th. I would not be surprised if they all make varsity at their high schools as 9th graders.

Second, show me any success YJMA has had with recruiting? Yes have they had some one off recruits at low level DI schools, sure. But if you are smart, you are doing everything know to get an angle into Capital or trying to make a jump to one of the Maryland clubs. From a parent who has gone through this.

Of course you must know it all then. Because you are so smart and do so much angling.

You think every 2030 in the area will make varsity as freshmen? Is that because the 2027 and 28 classes are so down? But every one of them, how many club teams is that?

That cannot be what the poster meant to say. That’s ridiculous.

The 27's, 28's and 29's are shaking in their boots. Better start hitting the wall girls. the 30's are coming for your spots.

The 2030s are a very strong year. I wouldn’t be surprised!

Who’s “they all”? Girls from a specific school or club team or do you mean all 2030’s in the area somehow?

Maybe SR? That will be one of the single best classes they’ve ever had.

No, the poster thinks all of the club 2030s will make their h.s. teams as frosh. That's a bold statement as that's probably 180-200 girls. But it's exciting!

There’s no way that the poster actually meant that

Yes, at the very least the 2027-2029 players at SR are going to be sitting the bench when the 2030s get there. As noted by PP, 2030 will be the best class they have ever had.

The SR 2030 class has some good players. But they aren't better than the top players in the 2030 class. Let's hold off on crowning them the greatest class ever.

There’s no way any class is that good. At a school and team as good as SR 4-5 making varsity as freshmen would be a lot.

It's cute the SR people think all of the 2030s currently at the school will all be there for high school.
