Anyone done that operation?
I’m at my wits end. Have been on meds, diet changes, etc |
| See a GI doctor and get on a higher dose of meds. |
I have a GI. I have another appt soon but I’ve already tried different meds and there is little improvement |
| Going very low carb, less than 20 total per day, helped me a great deal. I followed the approach in the book End Your Carb Confusion by Dr. Eric Westman. |
| Someone on a website for a illness recommended this specific probiotic and I have never had luck with probiotics but this one seems to be helping (but I've only taken it for a few days, once a day as I'm leary of more)..not sure whats so special about it but it has calmed down things a bit (but again, its only been a week so who knows). I take four reflux pills a day normally. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002NRB7SM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 |
Helped with GERD? |
It's good it helped them. I tried it and it wasn't. Its good for your overall health to reduce carbs. |
Maybe bc it causes weight loss which also helps with GERD (if you’re overweight)? I’m not overweight so unfortunately I don’t think this would help me either |
| Have you had your gallbladder checked? Mine resolved when I got mine out. |
| Have you had an endoscopy? |
This! |
Yes, all is fine other than esophagitis |
Interesting. What was the connection? |
I posted above. Meds are not helping |
| One tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mixed in a cup of water. Drink it in the morning and again in the evening. The apple cider vinegar pills are useless as they don't have enough ACV. |
