Going very low carb, less than 20 total per day, helped me a great deal. I followed the approach in the book End Your Carb Confusion by Dr. Eric Westman.

Someone on a website for a illness recommended this specific probiotic and I have never had luck with probiotics but this one seems to be helping (but I've only taken it for a few days, once a day as I'm leary of more)..not sure whats so special about it but it has calmed down things a bit (but again, its only been a week so who knows). I take four reflux pills a day normally. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002NRB7SM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Helped with GERD?

It's good it helped them. I tried it and it wasn't. Its good for your overall health to reduce carbs.

Maybe bc it causes weight loss which also helps with GERD (if you’re overweight)? I’m not overweight so unfortunately I don’t think this would help me either

One tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mixed in a cup of water. Drink it in the morning and again in the evening. The apple cider vinegar pills are useless as they don't have enough ACV.
