It's infinitely best to shovel your sidewalks and salt sooner rather than later, before they get walked on, and compressed to ice.
And for the love of god, clear ALL the snow off your car - the hood, the roof, everything. Being short is not an excuse. If you can't handle taking care of your car, that's not the safety problem of everyone else around you. |
| Here we go. |
|
So weight and pressure meant snow and it freezes as slippery ice?!
No way! Is this how ice skating works too? |
| I don’t have a sidewalk. |
| Or else?! You’ll take a photo and post it on FB? |
| No. |
Who are you talking to? The air? Who has agreed in life to take lectures from you? The birds and the bees? |
| People have literally been killed by idiots who didn't clear their car roofs. Like your own sidewalk, whatever, that ice won't fly into someone else. But driving with snow and ice on your car, you're endangering yourself and others. |
Is this OP? |
You know you can get sued, right? You sound like someone who plays pickleball and backs into parking spaces. |
|
You mean clear your car off if you are driving.
I don't intend to drive. |
Nope. |
No, not OP. I grew up in the north and we had this hardcore drilled into us in driver's Ed. In the state I grew up in you could get ticketed. |
| People who don't clear snow from their car are definitely the same lazy selfish jerks who leave shopping cars in parking lots. |
I bet where you're from people also are capable of driving in snow and go about their business in all weather. Most people here will hunker down and stay off the roads until they absolutely must go out. Like the sky fell. So there's that, at least. |
