What was a hit at your house? Any surprises? My kids were happy but nothing too surprising - Uggs, gift cards for clothing stores etc.

A big hit for my daughter was the skincare/makeup organizer and the lighted vanity mirror for her dresser.

A surprise hit for my son was the Shashibo shape shifter - got one for my daughter as well but she’s not really as into it. I actually got that idea from DCUM!

Concert tickets for my 13 year old DD. DH is taking one for the team and going with her so I am giving him all the credit!

14 year old DD's biggest hits:

Portable water resistant Buetooth speaker. She can take it to practice apparently, in addition to using it when she has friends over.

Dandy hoodies. These are pricey, so an indulgence.

Dandy bag. She's always asking for bags to carry her stuff to practice, and this will work perfectly. It also matches one of her hoodies.

College merch - Apparently she loves Florida Gators merch. Who knew?

Mascara kit from Bloomies - It's one of the few makeup things she uses consistently, and these are generally pricey, purchased individually.

My 12 year old wanted a stuffed animal hammock to hang her stuffed animals and a new soccer ball, so those weren’t surprises but probably what she most wanted. She complained recently about not liking frizzy hair so I got her a product for that which she was happy about and my husband got her book by a nature writer she likes. My SIL gave her the complete collection of John Muir’s works which she was also excited about. We’re in the Bay Area and tonight I’m taking her to Hamilton this week - but she knew about that too.

I got Coach (outlet) bags as a complete surprise for both my teen girls. They were thrilled.

My 13yo is most excited about his iPad and Commanders jersey; my 17yo is most pleased she got a refurbished Nintendo 3DS with Animal Crossing, as she requested, and knock off Uggs. Not sure what the vintage gaming console thing is about, but it is what she wanted!

14 y/o loved her iPad and keyboard but that isn’t a surprise. She also loves her neck lamp for reading and photo holder/tiny clothes pins for hanging pictures. Really she liked everything except a board game.
