| Do you send the score with applications? Some places indicate you should if 4s and 5s, others say the courses are what is important. |
| Reported them in common app |
| Definitely report 4s and 5s. |
| Many (most?) schools allow you to self-report scores (4s and 5s are generally good to include) and then send the official score report after the student is accepted/enrolled. |

A Harvard admit from yesterday reported a 3, two 4's. No AP Calc AB because she was currently taking it and a couple other AP's.
So you should report them. |
10 5s and rejected from Harvard. Athlete or legacy ? |
| My kid reported 4s and 5s. No data yet to support whether that was beneficial. |
| Kid sent all scores to Georgetown 5 5s, a 4 and a 3 in euro history. Accepted ea |
FGLI immigrant, which is more of a hook than any other URM. Though the FG part was up for debate due to creative interpretations of what FG is... |
| Does it matter based on school (e.g only report only if 5s to top schools)? Anyone getting advice from schools on this? DC’s counselor said not to but with all 4s and 5s in rigorous courses, I am wondering if that is good advice. |
| My kid reported mainly 4s and a couple 5s. So far accepted everywhere including UVA. |
So far? I assume your DC has pulled their other applications if accepted ED to UVA? |
Your kid had 12 APs through 11th grade?! What were they? I am pretty sure that is not possible at our school! |
It will be Whitman or the VA equivalent. Totally possible. When my kids started HS it looked possible for them to take 14 APs. They didn't though. |
Yes of course. I don’t know why I typed that….I just meant accepted at several schools so 4s and 5s must be completely fine to submit. We pulled all remaining apps. Best of luck! It’s such a stressful time. |
