GA Case

EVEN IF... any of this Fani Willis stuff is true...

It DOES NOT somehow make all of the criminality of Trump's campaign and their actions in Georgia somehow magically disappear. At this point we've already seen mountains of evidence. And Trump has already lost some of the other Georgia cases, like how Giuliani had his ass handed to him by the GA election workers that he slandered and maligned who ended up suffering horrific threats and stalking. The GA prosecution still needs to proceed, regardless of whether it's led by Fani Willis or not.

The Fani Willis stuff raises some eyebrows. You hire who you know. And I wonder if she picked him because no one else would do it. If he or she is taken off, that's probably the end of this prosecution.

This is all about delaying the trial. On an evidentiary basis, Trump is totally screwed.

The filing was not made by Trump. It was made by a different defendant.
If the allegations are true, Fani Willis may have her own RICO case - as a defendant.

Didn’t filing provide evidence?

The evidence is all from a sealed divorce proceeding. So, sort of.

Still no comment from Fani Willis.

She's been subpoenaed in Wade's divorce case.

Major graft.

Yes attacking someone's suit. How very 2014 of them.

It sounds unethical to hire your relatively inexperienced boyfriend to head a major prosecution of a former POTUS, but I'm not sure it's illegal. They are not married, so he is not a relative, which would be nepotism. She may have had trouble finding someone she trusted to take the position.
But optics...
It she's the cause of his divorce...
It has no bearing on the evidence against Trump, which is massive, but again, optics...
If they are romantically involved, she will have to dismiss him. There may be ethics rules in her workplace that prohibit workplace relationships??
However, the garbage that he's paying for vacations with her using his salary, well, huh? How else is he going to pay for vacations? I pay for vacations with my salary. I assume he earns his salary. There is no allegation that he doesn't. He can spend it as he wants.

Doubtful. I'm sure lots of others would be willing to help take Trump down.

Perhaps not.
