Are you kidding? Putin can barely even finish off Ukraine's 58th-largest city, Bakhmut. |
Must be Soros! |
Don't care. They're transliterated names with mutiple slightly different spellings depending on the language. Close enough. They still all had buildings that went boom yesterday due to careless smoking. |

Saying people are afraid of nuclear war is not the sick burn you think it is.
Damn right I am afraid of nukes, as is anyone with half a brain and the will to live. Glad the poster who lives next to the Pentagon is such a nihilist they don't care if they are vaporized, but some of us prefer diplomacy and putting pressure on both Russia and Ukraine to come to the negotiating table. |
Same story with the poors. Like meth in Appalachia? |
I’m totally with you. Why hasn’t diplomacy been priority #1? |
Well, that’s a good question and let’s unpack it. Diplomacy. That’s where nations hash things out cordially with each other. Russia unilaterally attacked Ukraine in the hopes of subsuming it back into the old fold of a USSR fever dream. Ukraine said no and fought back. So what diplomacy do you speak of when Russia is still attacking? If they left, there would be diplomacy. Allowing their country to be carved up and offered away for peace isn’t very diplomatic don’t you think? Do you think? |
| This "war" is a manufactured distraction. I am tired of seeing news articles about Zelensky racking up frequent flier miles while his country burns to the ground. Countries supplying Ukraine with weapons are just prolonging this "war"and it's the regular folks in the country who are suffering. |
My guess is part of Russia’s defense budget is (laughably) spent on propaganda bots and paid posters like you who spread misinformation to lower morale and seed doubt. The free world has become united in its support. Germany sending tanks. Britain. There are all these new NATO applications. The EU is finally shoring up it’s defense spending. The US is obviously helping. There will soon be an offensive. Zelenskyy is the poster child for how to approach getting international support and he looks like a hero to his country, so you’re completely wrong in that regard as well. Either you are an ignorant Fox bot, or someone completely misguided by some sort of odd form of pacificisn that really isn’t applicable for this situation for all the poor Ukrainians who love their country, or you’re simply a bot or paid shill. But no, if you’re a human. Turn off fox and turn on your thinking cap buddy. We stand by our allies. We are not some trumpian isolationist block that doesn’t help being on the right side of history. In fact, if trump was in charge he would already have given Ukraine to Russia, which would only embolden it to probably attack other neighbors. |
Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk for Donbass and Crimea? |
The good news is that the groundwork is being laid for a "frozen" conflict. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/05/18/ukraine-russia-south-korea-00097563 While not ideal, certainly preferable to the current state. |
Except, as we've seen in countless examples from around the world, all that does is push the can down the road. It's all premature until Ukraine's counteroffensive is finished. Russia took their last shot with Bakhmut. Now it's Ukraine's turn. If they don't make progress then the conditions might be ripe for a ceasefire. Unfortunately, as we see with the Belgorod People's Republic, talk of diplomacy incentivizes Ukraine to capture parts of Russia so they have something to trade. |
What counteroffensive? |
