DOGE already negotiating RTO with FED leadership

I am hearing from my boss that there are talks in place to determine space availability to bring feds 5 days to office. It has started hitting home and feels much closer.

Hm, at our agency they tell us we can't speak to the transition team about anything that's not public information.

Proof?

Oh FFS. Can a day go by without feds on here complaining about DOGE and RTO? Shaking in their boots that they might have to go to work? I go to work every *&^%ing day. And it's fine.

I appreciate hearing what’s going on. Even though I’m not one of the workers, I’m one I people who drives on the roads soon to be clogged with even more traffic

Has DOGE ever commuted in DC? They should do it for a week before they set policy. Ideally on a least one rainy day, just for fun.

Put on your big girl big boy undies and go to work!
WFH took off as a health measure during covid and it's been a cushy gig. But your kids don't want to school from home and you don't even remember how to make small talk at office coffee time

It's a job. It's an office.
If you need to breastfeed your kittens or massage your toes whilst in the clock get a new job.

I'm convinced most of these OPs are trolls. They stir some shit and then screencap it for their twitter feed or whatever. Don't given them any oxygen.

Nobody made you move to that better house with the bad commute
I drove Arlington to Glenwood MD 5 days a week for 5 years. It paid well. I liked the work.
I took metro for 16:years. 9;stops plus the 1.5 m walk each way from home to Metro. No need for health club.
I went to lunch in restaurants. I went to drinks after work. I made $100k ffs. You can cope.

Some people have had remote jobs before Covid. So people with kids should quit their jobs. School is 7 hours with commute people have 12 hour days . Just dump and abandon your kids for some idiotic decision maker.

Traffic was always terrible. Use Metro.
Or if you are a fed who can't cope then quit. There are people who live near metro who deserve a better job with benefits.
