S/O on lab vs mined diamonds

For those who have lab diamonds, where would you recommend purchasing?

I got a ring from blue Nile and earrings from clean origin and I have been happy with both

Do not do blue Nile or regular retailers. I bought some stones from luvansh for so much less. You can also check the lab diamond subreddit for info on more retailers.

never do big retailers for any kinds of diamonds. The mark up for natural could be close to 1000% and for lab diamonds, it could be 2-3000%.

Lab diamonds average wholesale rates come out to be about $200/carat, may be slightly higher if they are big in carat size such as 3-4 carats or higher. Natural diamond prices goes exponentially high and 2 carats, VVS1, round could go for $10K or higher

Never invest in lab diamonds and consider them slightly better than mosiannites stones. They don't hold any value because market is full of supply and only gullible people spend big $s on lab based diamonds.

The problem is that you still want them cut well. The cut, more than the material, will determine how beautiful the stone is. The best cutters will always charge more. Depending on what cuts you like, I'd also check out Good Old Gold. A++++ cuts, but on the pricier side.

don't go for lab diamonds, that's stupid. It is for people who can't afford real diamonds. Businesses would push for it because they have the most margins.

And they are just as overpriced as mined diamonds. Don't buy from here.

BS I can afford natural stones I have them why spend that money on something where the value isn’t there . Not like one can sell a 1carat natural stone after walking out of any jewelry store fir what you just bought it fir it loses at least half its value

Labs are great especially for young couples
