It describes how a 42 y/o Cormac McCarthy "fell in love" (groomed) a 16 y/o teenager and took her across the border to Mexico to escape when the FBI tried to intervene. Is this common knowledge? I mean, he was a sexual predator. Why don't people talk about this?
