What do you mean by "gets all the love"? They had to advance to the Final Four, so clearly they were deserving of tournament bids.

Have you reviewed how teams are selected from each conference within D3 Men's soccer?
Why does NESCAC have proportionally more teams than other conferences in D3 in the NCAA tournament?

Typically teams are selected for the NCAA tournament in 2 ways - they won their conference championship OR they received an automatic bid. NESCAC gets more at-berth selections than any other conference. That's what "gets all the love means" leaving the vast majority of the 42 other conferences with only 1 bid.

I thought it might be Mary Washington’s year. They lost in the 3rd round to Denison. Their only other loss this season was a 4-2 loss to UVA.
