He has spent almost as much time in space as Bill Nelson, the current Administrator. There is more and more commercial work being done in space, it's leading the way. I recently retired from NASA and was pleasantly surprised by the performance of Jim Bridenstine, Trumps 2017 appointment. But Bridenstine was effective because he knew Congress and how to work the appropriations process. This guy may be a good business person, but it’s going to be a steep learning curve to understand the politics of NASA Centers, Congress, and the FARs. |

No, it’s more like “Trump had been selecting atrociously unqualified and downright destructive idiots (kennedy for Dep of Health? Gaetz for DOJ???? Hegseth for DOD?? And so on) than when we see a name we dont recognize we just hope is not another conspiracy theorist idiot”. Great if this guy has a normal brain and just a conflict of interest. President Elon has yet to make one good pick, so why would anyone believe that this one would be even remotely capable? I hope that he runs it more like SpaceX and less like the car company that burns people alive. |
