These are all TO stats so completely meaningless. W&L and Richmond?? A/A-?? lol |
Rankings are not based on the test scores. Just included for reference. See Virginia Tech and American. |
I see. So there's grade inflation in these ratings as well. Other than JHU, GU, and UVA, drop every school at least half a grade. |
W&L doesn't have guaranteed admission students from community colleges or "W&L at Wise". Drop all VA publics by a full letter grade and raise all privates by at least half a letter grade. |
|
Weirdo.
Lots of weirdos on the college forum recently |
There she is. The W&L booster. Making a dumb ranking system just to say how great their above average school is. Maybe try not to have a confederate loser as part of your school name to go along with your 80% white campus. |
What? I have no skin in the game. Also, W&L is a top choice for top 1%ers and good test takers. |
1% of who? Students are 70% TO, 75% southern states, and only 4% Asian. Must be 1% of the 3rd quartile. |
Students are 48% TO on par with UVA and W&M. I meant top 1% of the income distribution. Eye roll. |
i wished GU is test optional - but not only it needs test, it needs all - lol |
https://www.wlu.edu/admissions/apply/new-class-profile/ 59% TO |
And UVA is like 33% TO. |
Percent submitting for class of 2028: UVA: 59.3% VTech: 49.3% W&M: 58.7% https://research.schev.edu//enrollment/B10_FreshmenProfile.asp |

These posts are kind of fun! We all just spout opinions without substantiating them based on a neighbor's kid and some guy we knew back in the 90s ...
I like the category of opportunity school! I don't know enough about that group (not that that should stop me!) to say who belongs so I'll leave it as is. anyway, here's my edit of your list. *** A Tier Privates: Johns Hopkins - 1550 Georgetown - 1480 A Tier Publics: UVA - 1470 W&M - 1470 A- Tier Publics UMD College Park - 1450 Virginia Tech - 1360 B+ Tier Privates: Washington & Lee - 1480 University of Richmond - 1460 B+ Tier Publics: Delaware - 1280 USNA - 1380 B Tier Privates: George Washington - 1420 B- Tier Privates: American Howard C Tier Publics: JMU Opportunity Schools: GMU St. Mary's College CNU UMBC ODU Loyola U Maryland UMW Radford Longwood VCU Etc. |
