| He is going a large scale week removal and he took my two mature peonies out. I’m devastated. |
| Wow, I’m sorry, op. I’d be upset too. |
|
I am sorry. Ours once removed all my coneflowers
|
| Fire him. I always stick around if plants are being removed. |
| What the heck? Why didn’t he recognize what the plants were? Is he just doing whatever he wants without any instruction? |
| OMG. That is pretty bad. |
|
Oh, OP! I'm so sorry. I would be heartbroken!
Can you ask them to replace them? Not the same, but...
|
| I would be devastated and he would be fired. Why are you weeding now though? |
| This is the difference between lawn cutters and true landscapers. I also learned this the hard way. You can ask him to buy you new ones and replace them. |
| Are you sure he didn't just cut them back? I cut mine every year but leave the buds and they fully are back next spring. |
| I'm so sorry, OP. That's not a gardener, BTW. Around here there are landscapers who don't know a weed from a plant. Be very careful if you ask them to remove anything. |
| Dang. Mine are 5 years old and still not really blooming |
You’re right he cut them to the ground but the eyes are still there |
whew! mischief managed |
Woohoo!! Yes, they can be cut to the ground. |
